The Chairperson (Young-hoang Cho) of NHRCK and two standing commissioners (Young-ae Choi and Kang-ja Jung) visited Seoul National School for the Blind on April 19th, 2006.
Chairperson and two commissioners inquired into the in-house-facilities of the school and had experienced the difficulties of the disabled students. And the Chairperson and standing commissioners held a bull session with students regarding various kinds of discrimination problems they suffered.
During the discussion, the blind students set forth their problems in their daily life such as the access hurdles to the information as the visual handicapped, and the national policy and planning for their dependency and self-life. The meeting was very helpful to discuss various kinds of difficulties of the blind and got sympathy for the discrimination elimination.
