The Commission held the 3rd North Korean Human Rights Forum with special focus on the main contents and challenges of the North Korean Human Rights Bill on September 18, 2008. The Commission had already held two North Korean Human Rights Forums with professionals from academy, law, media and NGOs and discussed Korean society’s roles in promoting North Korean human rights.
During the 3rd North Korean Human Rights Forum, professional participations from universities, governmental departments and NGOs discussed the North Korean Human Rights Bill which was proposed from the National Assembly including the establishment of North Korean human rights organization, roles of governmental organization and support from NGOs.
