June 29 ~ 30 - 2009 NHRCK Hosts Santa Clara Human Rights Training Program
The NHRCK will be hosting the 2009 Santa Clara Human Rights Program from June 29 to July 3, 2009 to provide human rights training to American law students. The Commission has organized the event in tandem with the Santa Clara Law School since 2007. The program aims to assist aspiring human rights lawyers and human rights defenders to gain practical skills for human rights advocacy, build their capacity for contributing to international and domestic legal norms and apply human rights principles to their current and future endeavors. The program will bring together experts from academia and human rights organizations.
