The National Human Rights Commission of Korea (NHRCK) held the <Kwangju• Jeonnam • Jeonbuk Human Rights on Information Seminar> at the Kwangju Bank on 19 December 2011. The NHRCK hosts a series of seminar on Information and Human Rights to promote awareness of human rights on information in cooperation with regional offices of the NHRCK as the importance of the protection of human rights on information grows.
At the Kwangju • Jeonnam • Jeonbuk Human Rights on Information Workshop, a simulation on how the Right to Information could be violated was presented and a panel discussion between experts and representatives from civil society was followed in order to raise awareness among participants about the seriousness of violation of the right to information. This seminar was previously held in Pusanon 28 November 2011in line with the series.
