2007 Official Overseas Visit on North Korean Human Rights
Briefing on Mongolia, China, and Thailand
The purpose of the official visits by the National Human Rights Commission of Korea(NHRCK) to Mongolia, China, and Thailand in 2007 was to obtain the opinion of experts and parties concerned. It was designed to allow for an understanding of the current situation regarding the human rights of North Korean defectors in those countries, as expressed in our position paper on North Korean human rights.
The visit was designed so that the NHRCK could grasp the current conditions of North Korean defectors through discussions and interviews with overseas government establishments, related parties, and expert concerned.
