*’Mainstreaming Gender Equality’ is a concept first introduced at the World Conference on Women 1985, held in Nairobi. It is a tool to evaluate the level of Gender Equality Perspective in the process of organization, development and policy making in institutions so that gender equality can be well incorporated into all levels of policy and decision making process.
