The National Human Rights Commission of Korea hosted a Conference on NAP of Business and Human Rights on 25 May, 2016 at Jeju International Convention Center.

The Conference was hosted as part of the Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity. During the Conference, opinion from the government, public institutions, business, and civil society was received regarding the Recommendation on NAP of Business and Human Rights which aims to strengthen competitiveness of Korean companies on global stage and to facilitate implementation of human rights management in Korea.

The NHRCK hopes that the conference served as an opportunity to formulate an NAP on business and human rights that present direction for human rights management and to facilitate productive discussion that results in creation of human rights friendly business culture.
