2016 International Symposium on North Korean Human Rights

The NHRCK hosted the 2016 International Symposium on North Korean Human Rights jointly with the OHCHR Seoul on 19 May 2016. The Commissino has been hosting international symposium on the issue of human rights in North Korean in a bid to strengthen cooperation among diverse stakeholders both home and abroad working for improvement of human rights situation in North Korea. This year's symposium was held to braoden understanding on the UN human rights mechanism and international standards and to discuss diverse measures we can take to enhance human rights situation in North Korea.
