NHRCK hosted a panel discussion on measures to enhance the Act on Protection of Part-time Workers

o National Human Rights Commission of Korea hosted a panel discussion on measures to enhance the Act on the Protection, etc of Fixed-term and Part-time workers on 28 September.
o During the discussion, controversies over the Act and impact on domestic labor market and workers since its enactment in 2007 as well as measures to realize purpose of the act were discussed,
o Active discussions were made with participation of not only academic experts but also field experts and government representatives to identify and address problems of the Act.
o NHRCK listened to voices of diverse representatives to enhance the Act of Part-time Workers to devise measures to address employment insecurity and discrimination faced by fixed-term and part-time workers.
