From 3 to 5 October, Standing Commissioner, YOO Nam-Young attended the 1st Taiwanese-Korean Human Rights Forum co-hosted by the Memorial Foundation of 2.28 in Taiwan, Korea’s May 18 Memorial Foundation and Jeju 4.3 Research Institute. Under the topic of ‘Regime Change and Liquidating the Past History,’ YOO Nam-Young Standing Commissioner stated that the Commission endeavored to exercise UN human rights mechanism for domestic promotion of the human rights and put importance on cooperation with other international and national human rights organizations.
