NHRCK Chairperson Speaks on Panel at UNESCO Global Forum against Racism and Discrimination

 

Young-ae Choi, Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission of Korea, participated as a panelist in the UNESCO Global Forum against Racism and Discrimination, which was held virtually at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France, on March 22 in celebration of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

 

At a panel discussion on how to establish anti-racist policies, the Chairperson shared Korea’s progress and way forward on hatred and discrimination, including the Commission’s activities to deal with hate speech.
