The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) published Materials for Implementing the International Human Rights Conventions (the Material Series), which include all kinds of recommendations within 3,200 pages related to implementation of the six major UN international human rights conventions.
The Material Series consists of six volumes about major UN human rights conventions as follows: the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (the first volume); the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (the second volume); the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (the third volume); the Convention on the Rights of the Child (the forth volume); the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (the fifth volume); Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Punishment Treatment of Punishment (the sixth volume). The NHRC is scheduled to distribute the Material Series to domestic human rights NGOs, the concerned government agencies, and universities which have human rights courses.
