Chairperson Ahn Kyong Whan of the National Human Rights Commission of Korea(NHRCK) and Kwak No Hyun, the ex-Secretary General of NHRCK and current ACJ member participated in the Advisory Council of Jurist's Workshop that was held in New Delhi, India from 26 February to 1 March 2008.
The purpose of the review is to strengthen the operations of the Advisory Council of Jurists and to align its activities with the APF's strategic goals. A further aim is structured and supported so as to meet the needs of the Asia Pacific Forum and its members into the next decade.

- how to improve procedures for the selection and development of references, and the implementation and monitoringof their recommendations
- how to clarify and strengthen the relationship between the Forum Council and the ACJ, and between NHRIs and their ACJ nominees
