The NHRCK organized the 2008 Santa Clara Human Rights Program (23 June ~ 4 July)
The NHRCK held the 2008 Santa Clara Human Rights Program in tandem with Santa Clara Law School and Kookmin University Law School in an effort to promote human rights education. The teaching program was carried out from June 23 to July 4 at the NHRCK headquarters in
Seoul. The program aimed to help law school students and human rights defenders gain a practical knowledge of human rights advocacy and apply human rights principles and values to their current and future work. The program included experts from leading human rights organizations (e.g. the UN and NGOs) to provide practical insights into the promotion and protection of human rights in both the regional and international context.
