The NHRCK held a forum on the recommendations by the Advisory Council of Jurists (ACJ) which is an advisory body of the Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions (APF). The purpose of the forum was to share the observations and recommendations made by the ACJ with regards to the right to environment, right to education, issue of torture, and trafficking. The panels reviewed the relevant issues in Korea and discussed ways in which the promotion and protection of those rights can be ensured by implementing the recommendations.
