Chairperson Ahn delivered a special lecture for elementary students.
Chairperson Ahn Kyong-whan of the National Human Rights Commission of Korea delivered a special lecture titled "The Constitution and Universal Declaration of Human Rights read by an elder Constitutional Law scholar" to 6th grade students at Sungseo elementary school in Osan, Kyunggi province on July 15.
The Constitution was devised by citizens and their representatives, thus "the owners of the nation are its citizens" chairperson Ahn emphasized. He also added that the UDHR, the document that has been translated to the largest number of languages, must be applied to all persons in the world regardless of nationality, religion or tradition.
