The NHRCK Daegu Regional Office and Benest, social welfare foundation, co-hosted the human rights festival, “Different Thoughts, Same Dreams” on August 29, 2008 for the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of the Human Rights. With the slogan of “Different Thoughts but Same Dreams,” the event focused on understanding the lives of the mentally disabled and realizing the importance of difference through music, performances, picture and videos.
