The NHRCK held a “Workshop on Youth Human Rights Activities” on August 22, 2008. The workshop focused on promoting youth human rights through the discussion and presentation of youth human rights activities. The international community, including the Committee on the Rights of the Child, has expressed deep concern towards the youth human rights situation in Korea. The NHRCK plans to apply the focal points concluded from the workshop to the work plans regarding human rights measures for Korean youth.
