The NHRCK held a “2008 Human Rights Event with Youths” on August 22, 2008. This event was held in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to investigate the human rights situation of Korean youth. Throughout the event, young participants freely discussed human rights issues in schools and society; the event consisted of a variety of performances, video clips, human rights quizzes, and other activities.
