The Commission held a discussion with local NGOs on migrants’ rights from September 9 to 11, 2008. Throughout the discussion for the promotion and protection of migrants’ rights, the Commission reported its past work and future goals regarding migrants’ rights and attempted to understand the current situation regarding migrant issues and the challenges in local areas. The Commission plans to collect opinions from NGOs and establish measures to promote migrant rights.
