Chairperson AHN Kyong-Whan offered a special lecture on ‘Korean Society and Human Rights’ for Seoul National University students on October 16, 2008. The lecture covered the historical development process of human rights perceptions, characteristics of Korean society, the role of the NHRCK, and major recommendations including the issues concerning North Korean human rights and ratification of international human rights treaties.
