The Busan Regional Office of the Commission hosted the ‘2008 Practice Meeting for Human Rights Education’ on November 26 to share the experience of human rights education with elementary/middle/high school teachers, civil society, and students of education universities in Yeongnam (the southeastern part of Korea). During the meeting, various practices of human rights education were presented including education for elementary school teachers on the rights of persons with disabilities, gender equality education, and human rights education for teachers.
