l February 17 – Human Rights Education Forum Steering Committee
The forum holds its first steering committee in 2009 and will discuss business plans for the new year. The forum members include human rights education experts from academia and NGOs and also NHRCK officers.
l February 19 – 5th North Korean Human Rights Forum
The North Korean Human Rights Forum, facilitated by the NHRCK, has been held since May 2008 to enhance communication between experts on North Korean human rights and the Commission. Experts from academia, media, NGOs and civil society will take part in the forum as presenters and discussants.
