April 22 - Chairperson Ahn Kyong-Whan welcomed the visit of the government and NGO representatives from the Asian region on April 22. Eight participants from India, Mongolia, Nepal, Malaysia, Pakistan, Cambodia, Bangladesh and Philippines paid a courtesy call on Chairperson Ahn. During a one-hour introduction session with the Mr. Anselmo Lee, Director-General of the Policy and Education Bureau, the participants had a chance to gain an in-depth understanding of the role of civil society in the establishment process and the work of the NHRCK.
