September 17- A Joint Forum on Children’s Rights in Korea to Be Held
The NHRCK and the Institute for Social Development and Policy Research will hold a joint forum on September 17. The forum, entitled “Children’s Rights in Korea: An Analysis of World Happiness Index,” will examine the present status of rights of the child in Korea and check the possibility of applying the world happiness index as a barometer of children’s rights.
September 18- Academic Conference on Human Rights Education for Multicultural Society to Be Held
The NHRCK and the Korean Association for Legislation and Policy Studies will host an academic conference on September 18. At the conference, entitled “Institutionalization of Human Rights Education for Multicultural Society,” participants will discuss problems of Korea’s current legal system with regards to the children’s right to education and the ways to institutionalize multicultural education in Korea.
