Monitoring Group on the Rights of the Elderly Launched
The National Human Rights Commission of Korea launched the second batch of Monitoring Group on the Rights of the Elderly on May 7, 2010, consisting of 104 senior citizens from across the country.
The group focuses on the monitoring and assessing the service of the Long-Term Care Insurance for the Elderly in terms of the right to health and social care. The monitoring group conducts its activities in four regions including Seoul, Busan, Gwangju and Daegu.
