The NHRCK hosted Seoul International Conference against Trafficking in Migrant Women
The National Human Rights Commission of Korea (NHRCK) hosted Seoul International Conference against Trafficking in Migrant Women on June 28.
The Conference was attended by distinguished experts in the field such as Ms. Joy Ngozi Ezeilo, the UN Special Rapporteur on Trafficking of Persons, and Ms. Amara Pongsapich, the Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand.
The Conference was held in order to share common concerns on the issue and seek for preventive measures and methods for international cooperation.
The NHRCK will take reference to the discussions of the Conference for its policy review, such as setting up preventive measures, and will actively cope with relevant problems through cooperation at the international level.
