NHRCK held the Exhibition of Children’s Books on Human Rights
The National Human Rights Commission of Korea (NHRCK) holds the Exhibition of Children's Books on Human Rights between May 25 and October 28, 2011in coordination with five school libraries. It also runs Human Rights Collection in two small sized libraries.
The NHRCK has organized the Exhibition of Children's Books on Human Rights every year since 2009, recognizing that human rights should be familiar subject at early ages through books and dramas in order to enhance a culture of human rights in our society. The exhibition includes human rights books display, dramas performance, and animation showing.
The Human Right Collection is organized to encourage teenagers to read widely books on human rights, including programs like finding human rights in stories, meeting with authors, and teen rock band concerts.
