The National Human Rights Commission of Korea initiates its new program of the
The Human Rights Library (8th floor of the NHRCK) has wide range of collection including special books, papers, multi-media materials in the field of human rights, investigation reports, outcome reports of a conference and a set of decisions. Anyone regardless of one’s nationality, may visit the library to read and loan any of them. Also, there is a multimedia room where you can watch a visual material. The library also equipped with many devices for people with disabilities including an enlarger, height-adjustable desk, extra-large keyboards, and a monitor reading program.
The Library Tour Program is launched to make the best use of human rights materials in the library for the public. The tour program, which is available for 5 ~ 30 people, consists of an introduction of the Commission and its mandate, and explanation of how to use services of the library, watching a movie regarding human rights produced by the Commission, and explanation of how to utilize devices for people with disability.
