<Let’s Have Fun with Human Rights!> NHRCK Open Human Rights Book Fair

The Human Rights Library of the National Human Rights Commission of Korea (NHRCK), eight other libraries nationwide and the commissions three regional offices take turns to host the Human Rights Book Fair for children between May and December in 2013.

 

The NHRCK’s library has held the book fair every year since 2009 based on its firm conviction that the earlier children are exposed to the concept of human rights through books, movies etc., the further they are sensitized to human rights issues facing our society.

 

A variety of programs including animated films and puppet shows maded under the themes of human rights and multicultural society were designed for the book fair.

 

The Human Rights Library(http://library.humanrights.go.kr) of the NHRCK, located on the 8th floor of the commission building, carries a wide range of collections on human rights from both home and abroad, and are open to anyone for visiting, reading and borrowing collections.
