2015 Training Course for Human Rights Instructor in Military will initiate this month by the National Human Rights Commission of Korea(Chairperson Hyun Byung-chul) and Ministry of Justice, which aims to create human rights-friendly environment and prevent human rights infringements in military.
The training course is based on consultation with the Council for Human Rights Education in military, and it includes programs to enhance human rights sensitivity and capacity of human rights instructors in military by enhancing understanding on human rights issues in military, seeking objectives and goals of human rights education in military and introducing complaints and consultation cases related to human rights violations in military.
The NHRCK will continue to cooperate with the Ministry of National Defense to create human rights friendly environment in military and to prevent human rights violations by providing lectures and education on human rights in the military.
