The NHRCK is going to start its 2013 Human Rights Creative Contest in August. The Commission launched the annual contest in 2011 with an aim to create human rights-friendly culture in society and better protect and promote human rights by encouraging study on human rights.
Anyone who has interests in human rights is eligible to join any types of the contest:
l Essay
l Poster
l UCC
A total of 20 million KRW is allocated as prize for 63 winners. Contestants can submit their work from August 19 to September 22 via website or mail (only for posters). Prize-winning work will be posted on the official website of the contest (www.humangongmo.kr) and will be used as human rights education materials.
